The EH Detonator Clip Mk2 is a three-piece direct priming system engineered to provide a safer, simpler, and more efficient method of preparing explosive charges. Designed to eliminate the need for traditional det cord loops, the Mk2 reduces net explosive weight while improving overall safety and control during setup.
The system consists of three core components: the main body, detonator holder, and end cap. Together, they create a secure clip-in, clip-out priming solution that allows users to prepare charges with greater confidence and reduced risk of inadvertent initiation.

Three-Piece Construction
Direct Priming Capability
Designed to accept a range of blasting caps while providing a direct prime without the need for a det cord loop.
Reduced Net Explosive Weight
Eliminates excess cord traditionally required for loop priming, supporting safer and more efficient charge preparation.
Main Body with Three-Stage Lock
The hinged main body includes a det cord channel capable of accepting either a loop or a single strand of det cord. A three-stage locking mechanism secures varying det cord thicknesses.
Integrated Fastening Tabs
Tabs at either end of the clip allow it to be secured directly to a charge or target surface.
Detonator Holder with Pull-Through Protection
The detonator holder grips the detonator at its end, preventing pull-through during setup and ensuring secure positioning.
End Cap Lead Retention
The end cap locks over the assembly, securing detonator leads and preventing movement or tension on the wires.
Flexible Orientation
The detonator holder can slide into either end of the main body, allowing adaptable positioning during charge preparation.
Quick-Release Capability
A quick-release latch enables rapid removal of the detonator holder if required.
Reusable Design
Even when fully assembled, all explosive components can be safely removed from the clip. The device can then be reused in future operations, supporting both operational and training use.
