Protecto Wrap Defense Group Charge Adhesive Tape (CAT) was developed in direct response to requirements from the defence industry and law enforcement for a reliable, readily available adhesive solution for explosive breaching applications. Manufactured entirely in the USA, CAT is a double sided adhesive tape designed to create an instant, durable bond between energetic charges and a wide range of operational surfaces.

CAT was developed to address a long standing industry need for a cost effective adhesive that performs consistently across diverse materials commonly encountered during breaching operations. It adheres effectively to fire hose, steel, aluminium, wood and OSB, fibreglass, glass, and masonry brick or block surfaces, while remaining dependable in demanding environmental conditions.

Engineered for extreme environments, CAT maintains performance across a wide temperature range, from -45°F (-43°C) to 300°F (149°C). During testing, CAT successfully held a full size concrete cinder block against a door for an extended 11 hour period, demonstrating its strength and reliability under load.

Each roll is factory shrink wrapped prior to shipping to ensure cleanliness and readiness for operational use. CAT is designed to be consistently available and in stock, supporting operational planning and sustainment.
